Managed Solutions

Castle Asset Management established the Managed Solutions brand in 2009.  However, the concept was in development long before that.  In 1975, the first index funds were launched in a mutual fund form.  At the time, the strategy was unproven; yet, these funds offered distinct advantages in terms of cost and transparency.  In 1993, ETFs began to trade on the American Stock Exchange.  Again, this investment was unproven, but offered even more advantages; including near-instant liquidity.

Prior to the inception of Managed Solutions, the investment strategy evolved on another platform, Wealth Builder.  Partly due to circumstance and partly due to foresight, the investment committee at Castle Asset Management altered their focus from manager selection to asset allocation; from buy-and-hold to risk minimization.  Managed Solutions is the marriage of these two seemingly different investment platforms.
